Launa is my little baby cousin!

Happy 1st Birthday baby girl!

Wow, was it cold. A few degrees colder that we are used to! It made us all very hesitant to start out.  Kids do not like being chilly, WE don’t like being cold. Winter photography is tricky. I won’t lie to you–I was nervous that our session was going to be a no go, BUT was I wrong. Launa was a trooper!

I have had the pleasure of working with my the family prior, in the fall of 2018, so I was happy and they have the sweetest little munchkin ever.

Location was a first for me! I found a secluded little area with trees as our backdrop, that was aligned for some awesome images. We made it work REALLY well and we were fast!

Of course, location and lighting were awesome. AND my cousin made all the props for Launa! It was too cute!

Birthday portraits are always a blast. I love having the chance to watch the little ones grow, and I always feel honored to capture these growing moments.
