Zoe | Cool Day in Lost Maples
Where the heck did FALL go? My Senior Session with Zoe was an adventurous one. I traveled to a location I had never been to before, not even have driven by it etc. . . So for anyone that can be a pretty intimidating feeling. It was a bit of a winding road but very peaceful. I loved it, something very different for me. When I arrived it was COLD but beautiful. The trees we all different colors; greens, yellows, orange, brown, reds. There were families heading into the park to hike, ride bikes etc. . Finally Zoe and Michele arrived and we were able to start and every backdrop I turned to was so pretty. You’ll see what I am talking about!
Okay besides the fact that Zoe’s sweetness is beyond contagious, she is just the a good-hearted person. Anything and everything that I suggested she took it and made it her own, and I love when people do that.
It’s been a busy first semester for me, I took some time off during the Christmas Break to be together with my family but there has also been many hustle moments, big reason why my poor blogs have been put on the back burner. I have so many stories to share and hope to catch up soon!
But as we wait in line for the start of the NEW season, don’t wait to start thinking of portraits for your Senior Portraits for 2019. Or if you want to do Family Portraits. . . NOW is the time to chime in. Last year I was completely booked for Spring 2018 fairly quickly. That I actually had to schedule in some of my Senior Sessions in May.
If you’re thinking about portraits, the most common question I receive is when should I book? When is a good time to contact you!? And honestly, if you’re thinking about them, don’t wait too long. Weekends are the first days to go. Portraits can be booked anywhere from 6 weeks to 6 months in advance. Depending on the season!
What’s a session in Lost Maples without actually capturing some leaf tossing?
Driving 2 hours out was all well worth it! Capturing someone at a place they want is always a go for me. If you see your vision there then I will help you. My sessions are pretty long, and that is all part of the person that I am. I love giving extra to those that trust my vision. For now, Zoe’s 2nd outfit, loved it so much!
A few closeups, because they are beautiful! <3
Along with those good vibes, my fun time with Zoe was awesome. I think it might have been 10 minutes into our session and we were already cracking up. She is so much fun and just a doll! To get some of these next shots was a struggle and it took some patience and praying that Zoe wouldn’t fall. But our patience completely paid off and these shots were totally worth it!! These came out so so so cute!
So it is a “no-brainer” if I in the future make another hike up to this part of TX and take in a glorious scenery and get some more stunning shots. I LOVE these portraits and I am equally proud of myself for not falling in the river or on the rocks! Ha!
AND this is the rock I hoped she wouldn’t fall off of! To get her up there without scratching her boots was a challenge, but we did it! Thanks to her Momma!!
Last little nook area I passed up on, on my way to the park. Sometimes you might think that these little areas wont have as much potential as others, but they can. Luckily I had a patient and lovely model to help tie it all together in the end!
These are the LAST group of photos for this AMAZING girl. I can’t wait til this Spring when we get to shoot all over again! It’s going to be so awesome!
