It was the first day for me back to photographing clients. I ran into someone at work + they asked me. . . ."Why does every say Happy New Year?" Good question. For some of us it's a chance for change. A fresh start, new beginning! For others it's EVERYTHING. It's an opportunity to become, or work towards the individual you've always wanted to be. . . BUT for me? MOSTLY it was to set higher goals, & to stop making excuses. To eat better & to be more helpful.
It was a chance for me to take everything I have learned in photography, apply it then take off running with it. With that said I photographed my first session of the year 2018.
Usually, I have more words spilling out of me than I can contain. But for this session, the photographs speak for themselves. I LOVE THEM!!

No words to describe how I feel about these top 2 photographs! BUT I can explain my process:
I found the sunlight. I let the light hit her directly. Chin up, eyes open. Chin down, eyes closed.
