Benavides Family | The Historic Pearl
Large Family Sessions are definitely something that everyone should try to schedule in. . .
at least every 2 to 4 years depending on how fast your family is growing. I know that we get caught up in work, soccer games, homework, baseball practice, Friday night games, and fundraisers on the weekend. These times are so important to document for your family, they are more for the future generations that are to come. If you feel that now as an adult that there aren’t very many family photos of your grandparents or parents now is the time to change that for your family. Do not take for granted every month or year that passes by, because we all know how fast those creep up on us. A great time to get the family together is when there is a new addition to your large family. And if there are 2 additions in one year, then hey! How fun is that to have double the photographs. Your kids will love them growing up like I am now that I’m in my 30’s. I love seeing old photographs of my family, and boy do we have A LOT growing up. I sometimes wonder the fact my parents valued how much photographs were important by the amount of photographs we each have throughout our time at home. The impact that is made on me, maybe this is what really was instilled within me as a child.
I love photographing my siblings and sometimes I don’t get to do it as often because of my schedule! Hey, but they are getting smarter and they are even booking their sessions with me in advance. Haha! My sister in-law contacted me here for this family session with her parents and siblings. It was a celebration for their parents anniversary. I thought that this was a great idea. We photographed in a small area at The Pearl after they had dinner in celebration. It was a large family but we kept it simple just as they wanted, and I guess I want to tell you that you do not need to block off 2 hours of your time. This session took us about 45min, but the memories are made and captured. It’s a beautiful keepsake to have. Enjoy!
After the shoot, I photographed my nephews being silly. Love these moments too! Truth is Luke loves Isaiah and Isaiah is already too cool, Ha! :)
