Welcome back! This evening I am sharing an amazing Senior Session that I had a couple of weeks ago with Destiny. This time of the year is extra special because we get to celebrate their young adult lives. These portraits have the golden hour glow that many people love and enjoy. To better describe my session with Destiny; Humble, wise, focused and a hard worker. Last but not least great character and a sense of humor. I love that she can get in front of the camera and with every frame she will always improve. The first frames of her story, I dug deep. The portrait I tried to convey was the day “we all turn our jerseys in” — I wanted her phone, I wanted it to be casual (jersey numbers not coming through) I believe somethings can be left a mystery or a conversation starter. I also wanted that feeling of “I showed up and no one is here yet to turn our things in, because nothing ever is perfect.” Life will never be perfect, but we adapt and overcome, and I wanted that REAL moment captured.

We started off at her High School and then went into downtown to shoot in front of the brand new, Cafe Suzanna — Which by the way is the cutest and exactly what the community is enjoying as of lately.
