Martinez Wedding | Cana Ballroom-Boerne Texas
Gaby + Gil said I do in Boerne, Tx just this past Fall.
We started out the morning with Gabby getting ready with her girls. We drove to the hill country and arrived at the house where she had her MU artist and Hairstylist present and the girls were sippin on water and mimosas. The house over looked the hill country which was perfect because I could photograph her wedding dress with that beautiful backdrop. Maid of honor, was so helpful and we gathered up her details to get photographed. An hour later Gaby got into her dress with the help of her girls and we captured some photos of her and the girls out by the deck that overlooked the hill country. I remember the night before i went to downtown Boerne to capture the nightlife for them as a tribute to why they were inspired by this location for their wedding spot. The night was so cold, but yet the next day was so beautiful, you know Texas weather. The ceremony was held at Saint Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. They both had their best buds and best girls by their side to spend their special day with them. Their colors were Orange, Aqua, and Ivory. We photographed the guys by the church, triple checking that Gil wouldn’t see Gaby :) Family and friends filled the pews inside of the church, everyone from our hometown. I saw so many familiar faces. The support system that Gaby and Gil have is awesome and I kept saying that over and over. After mass, church portraits, bride and groom portraits we headed to Cana Ballroom. NOW, THAT is overlooking the hill country. It was a totally different atmosphere then we are used to. So I am sure everyone was having a good time. Their cake was beautiful and the grooms cake was unique and perfectly done to fit their hobby. The food was amazing, hello Gaby and Gil are very knowledgeable about BBQ and successful when it comes to their team cook off events. This is what they do, the brisket was O M G! I loved the song that Gaby and her Mom danced to, it’s a fave of mine. But I also loved seeing the love that Gaby had for her new in-laws and Gil as well. Toast was awesome by Ramiro, Gil’s brother a true tell all story that had us laughing. We toasted and the couple danced the night away with their family and friends. Lots of photos later, the couple was sent off with bubbles on a cold November night in Beorne Texas.
