I enjoyed working with Grads this year

Working with Grads is a little different, especially when you have a already worked with them previously. I remember thinking at one time if I would ever offer GRAD portraits for these receiving a degree from a University. Fast forward a few years and here I am, photographing some special people accomplishing amazing things. I remember the feeling of receiving my degree, I did tear up. It really was worth all the studying, staying up late, reading chapter after chapter. It was those tough professors that made me a better person all around. Problem solving, experimenting, redoing projects and paperwork over and over again really prepared me for what I do now. I remember I had a tough professor who pushed me to be the best I could, she believed that I could create Grad work at an Undergrad level. I truly feel that is the reason behind my craftsmanship in my work. She used to tell us how important having outstanding craftsmanship was. Maybe that is why I go above and beyond with every image. I know that Amanda has also shared similar experiences from our conversations during her session. She mentioned that she really wanted to capture the books because one of them was her best friend throughout her studying. She has worked hard to get her and I want to congratulate her again! Congrats Amanda!
